Ghana

Health care for children in Ghana (StACC Ghana) began in 2008 in Bongo District.

Primary school children are given general health education, with particular emphasis on dental health. Over 300 dental operations have been carried out to help deal with the local problem of dental fluorosis. Miss Universe Ghana serves as the team’s ambassador for dental health.
